assignment in Wedowee, AL. She is now the Spiritual Leader at Union Chapel United Methodist Church. We are many members but one body in Christ Jesus. We are grateful and blessed to have Pastor Ware and pray God continues to do great things with us and through us as we walk by faith and not by sight. We Give God the Glory, for the Things He has Done, Is Doing and Going to Do.
Pastor Ware was born and raised in the United Methodist Faith. She is the daughter of Myrtis Moore and Ralph Dwight Ware; the paternal granddaughter of Ernestine Ware and the late Edward Ware; the maternal granddaughter of the late Will and Mildred Swanson.
Crystal is a member of Pine Grove United Methodist Church, Five Points, AL, under the leadership of Rev. Cecelia Broome. She has served in several positions at Pine Grove, including Advanced Lay Minister, Chairperson of Evangelism, Assistant Adult Sunday School Teacher, and Youth Leader. She is scheduled to begin ministerial licensing classes this year.
Crystal is a graduate of Five Points High School and Southern Union State Community College. She has worked with the Chambers County Department of Human Resources in the Child Support Unit and is currently employed with The Alabama Department of Rehabilitation Services.
She accepted Christ as her personal Savior and began studying the Word of God at the age of 22. Under the Pastoral guidance of Rev. Cecelia Broome (Pine Grove United Methodist Church) and Bishop Donald Lancaster of (New Dimension Worship Center, Valley, AL), she has grown in grace and advanced in the knowledge of the Gospel.
Crystal has excelled in several areas of her life, but most of all she is a child of God. Her grandmother and mother have both been huge contributors and influences throughout her spiritual walk. Perhaps the most influential words that have stayed with her on her spiritual journey are the words of encouragement from her grandmother, affectionately known as “MaDea.” One of her favorite phrases was, stay humble; humility will take you a long way, so let Jesus lead you in all you do.”
In her spare time, she is an event decorator. She enjoys reading, spending time with family, and helping others.
Crystal gives God all the Praise for all He has done and is doing in her life. Her favorite scriptures are taken from I Corinthians 2:9 which reads, “Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, neither have it entered in the heart of man, the things God has prepared for them that love Him” and Ephesians 3:20, “God is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all we can ask or think, according to the power that works in us.”
Words from the Pastor . . . Matthew 25:23 Faithful Over the Few Things
"The core message of this text is that our faithfulness in the everyday tasks and responsibilities God entrust to us is a sign of our character and worthiness to be trusted with more. It is an opportunity for growth and a pathway to receiving greater responsibilities and joy from God. What are we doing with what we have. Is there an increase?
I am going to be faithful over the few things. Rather than focusing on more. I am going to use what God has given me to bring Him Glory. I am determined to value everything that God has given me stewardship of in a way that I will receive the promise of reward for my faithfulness, the master will say well done thy good and faithful servant."
Grace and Peace,
Pastor Ware
